How to apply?

In Person

• Please approach the branch counter with the valid identification document (ID, Passport, or Resident Certificate) and the authorized seal.
• You can make your telegraphic transfer through E.SUN iExchange by entering the remittance information online in advance, then approaching the branch counter for application.

Online

You can easily make the telegraphic transfer on internet banking by applying the online banking foreign currency transfer service. You can also apply the designated outward remittance information to fasten the process.

Looking for Demand Draft (D/D)?

• If you don’t have the beneficiary's bank information, you can still easily make the payment by sending the demand draft.
• Create a demand draft in various of currency. (When the demand draft cannot be issued in local currency, you can still choose the main international currency such as USD or EUR for your request.)
• The beneficiary asks to pay by international cheque.

Important Notice

• Within the foreign exchange settlement amount and nature regulated by the Central Bank of the Republic of China(Taiwan), the foreign exchange purchased outward remittance can be in various currencies. According to the Central Bank Regulations Governing the Declaration of Foreign Exchange Receipts and Disbursements or Transactions, there are foreign exchange purchased or sold annual aggregate settlement amount limited for nationals. For an individual or an association is USD 5 million. For a company or a firm is USD 50 million. For foreign exchange transactions involving New Taiwan Dollars exchange exceeding 500,000 New Taiwan Dollars of a person’s daily aggregate settlement amount of foreign exchange purchased or sold, shall make a declaration statement.
• Sometimes when an international payment is processed, the correspondent bank for transferring the payment or the beneficiary bank for releasing the payment may take a fee by deducting from the remittance amount as the fee of processing the payment. Therefore, the actual amount received by the beneficiary may not be the same as the original amount.
• The beneficiary will receive the payment depending on the actual payment release process by the beneficiary bank.
• If you would like to ensure the beneficiary can receive the payment rapidly, please choose Telegraphic Transfer(T/T) as your international transfer application.
• To abide by the anti-money laundering and countering terrorism financing-related economic sanction regulation, for international payments involving countries that are internationally sanctioned or is prohibited by the Bank, the Bank is forbidden to undertake such payment.

Important Notice

• For foreign currency inward remittances credited in TWD, you can exchange from multi-currency to TWD within the foreign exchange settlement amount and nature regulated by the Central Bank of the Republic of China(Taiwan).
• For international inward remittance, the foreign banks will charge the fees for processing the remittance by deducting from the remittance amount. Therefore, the beneficiary will not receive the exact amount the remitter remits.
• For non-resident individuals (shall mean a foreign national who does not have a relevant Taiwan Area Resident Certificate or an Alien Resident Certificate, or who has a relevant residence certificate with a validity of less than one year) applying to release foreign currency inward remittance, the applicant shall approach the branch counter in person with the valid identification document.
