Step1:Log in to Personal Internet Banking account, and select "Credit Card", then select "Automatic Debit Settings".

Step2:Select the "Internet Banking Terms and Conditions of Automatic Debit from E.SUN Bank Account".

Step3:Select "Automatic Debit Account" and "Payment Method".

Step4:Verify your information and enter your Internet Banking Password and complete application.

Steps

Step1:Insert your ATM card or debit card and enter your password

Step2:Select "Other", and select " Automatic Debit". After reading the Terms and Conditions, select "Confirm".

Step3:Select Application/Modification, and then select Automatic Debit Account.

Step4:Enter ID number of the primary cardholder

Step5:After selecting the amount to be debited, verify payment information, and then select "Confirm" .

If you would like to apply for "Automatic Debit" with others’ E.SUN bank account, download the " E.SUN Credit Card Automatic Debit Authorization". Please fill the document above and send the application.

 

    ※ Digital Account Customers who apply for Automatic Debit of others’ credit card bill, firstly complete authentication at any E.SUN branch with two identification documents.

1. How long will Automatic Debit from E.SUN Bank Account service be effective after application?

  • Apply for automatic debit from E.SUN Bank account service
  • Applications from our official website, Internet Banking and ATM only takes 2 business day; Paper applications with correct and complete information takes 3 business day after receiving.
  • Apply for direct debit from account at other bank
  • The service will take effect about 5 business days after successful authentication in convenience stores. ,Paper applications with correct and complete information takes 30 business day after receiving.

2. How to make sure the application is successful?

You will receive a text message after the automatic debit service is effective, and your account number and date of payments will be displayed in the reconciliation statement after it takes effect.

3. Is service fee needed to apply for Automatic Debit ?

There are no service fees for Automatic Debit Service.

4. Will double payments occur if I pay the credit card bill before automatic debit date?

Please pay your credit card bill 3 business day before the payment due date to prevent double payment.

5. If the bank account used for Automatic Debit is not in my name, can I still apply for automatic debit?

Yes. You can use an account that is not in your name for automatic debit, but you need to submit a paper application. Please download the E.SUN Credit Card Automatic Debit Authorization, fill the document and indicate the account name, ID number of the account holder, and original authorized seal used to open the account, and send your application. As for Business Bank Account, only the credit card bill of the responsible person for the corporate or the certain business credit card bill can be debited from the Business Bank Account.

6. When will the Automatic Debit occur ?

If your Automatic Debit Account for credit card bill are E.SUN Bank Account , automatic debit will be made on the payment due date with agreed payment. As for Automatic Debit from External Bank Account, please transfer fund into your external account 1 day before the payment due date.
※Please note that if there are other agreed withholding fees in the withholding account on the deduction date, such as insurance premiums, securities delivery payments, public utility expenses, etc., please deposit sufficient funds to facilitate the deduction.

7. What should I do if there weren’t enough funds in my account and Automatic Debit failed ?

If the automatic deduction of the agreed account fails, you can use other payment methods, see strategy for details.
※ If you don’t have enough available funds in your E.SUN Bank Account, three consecutive automatic debit attempts will be made (in three business days), and your account's balance will be debited to NT$0.
If you don’t have enough available funds in your External Bank Account, the automatic debit will only be made once on the payment due date, and will not attempt further debit.

8. What should I do if I want to change or cancel Automatic Debit?

  • E.SUN Bank Account
  • Internet banking : Log in to "E.SUN Internet Banking" and select "Credit card". Choose "Automatic Debit Settings" and stop the service.
    ATM : Insert your ATM card into an E.SUN ATM , select "Other service" and choose "Set/Change". Select "Automatic Debit Settings" and cancel the service.
  • As for External Bank Account, please download the "E.SUN Credit Card Automatic Debit Authorization" and send the application.

9.Authentication CodeWhat are the conditions for using [Authentication Code] eDDA to apply for automatic direct debit?

    The application must be submitted by a primary cardholder of an E.SUN Bank credit card using an account in the applicant's name. Not applicable to corporate accounts.
    Financial institutions that provide eDDA service is based on the announcement of Taiwan Clearing House, please download QRcode for inquiry.

10.Authentication CodeAfter using eDDA to download QRcode, how long is the QRcode effective?

    The QRcode is effective for two days and displayed on the "Download QRcode" page. For example, if you downloaded a QRcode on 8/9, the QRcode will be effective until 8/10 23:59.
    If you do not insert your card for verification during the effective period of the QRcode, you can download a new QRcode from the official website on 8/11.

11.Authentication CodeIf I downloaded a QRcode but did not insert my card at a designated convenience store within the effective period, what should I do if I want to change the account for automatic direct debit?

    You must wait until it expires and download a new QRcode.
    For example, if your download a QRcode on 8/9, you can enter new payment information on 8/11 and download a new QRcode for application.

12.Authentication CodeWhen I insert my IC ATM card at a designated convenience store for verification, but enter an incorrect password, will it have any effect?

    If you incorrectly enter your password three consecutive times, your IC ATM card will be locked any you will need to unlock it at the issuing bank. Reminder: When you download a QRcode from the Bank's official website, you will need to insert the IC ATM card for the account used for automatic direct debit for authentication. If you use the IC ATM card of a different account, authentication will fail.

13.Authentication CodeI inserted my IC ATM card at a designated convenience store, successfully completed authentication, and obtained a receipt, when will automatic direct debit become effective?

    The service will take effect about 5 business days after successful authentication in convenience stores. A SMS notification will be sent and your account number and date of payments will be displayed in the reconciliation statement after it takes effect.
