Support the government’s policy to accelerate the reconstruction of unsafe and old buildings, improve the living environment, building safety, and quality of life by helping customers obtain the funds they need for reconstruction.
Applicability
As for reconstruction is carried out according to "Statute for Expediting Reconstruction of Urban Unsafe and Old Buildings" after gaining consent from owners of all land and legal buildings within the scope of a reconstruction plan:
- Owners of all land and legal buildings within the scope of a reconstruction plan.
- Legal persons or natural persons participating in the reconstruction within the scope of a reconstruction plan.
- Borrowers that provide buildings and land within the scope of a reconstruction plan as collateral for a loan from other financial institution to pay off existing debts.
- Programs guaranteed by Taiwan SMEG according to “Regulations for Credit Guarantee for Loans to Reconstruct Urban Unsafe and Old Buildings” regulated by the Ministry of the Interior.
Loan program
Applicability:
- Construction Loan.
- Working capital financing of a reconstruction plan.
- Guarantee bond for joint construction.
- Pay off existing debts.
Loan period: Up to 5 years being subject to the actual time required.
Repayment method:
- Interest is paid on a monthly basis, and the principal is paid according to the agreement.
- If the building is completed and sold or a construction loan is transferred to be a long-term mortgage during the loan period, the principal of its loan should be discharged in advance.
- Disclosures: The trust property including all land and legal buildings within the scope of a reconstruction plan shall be transferred to the Bank.
