  Taiwan Power Company signs a 20-year guaranteed power purchasing agreement with entities that install electric generating equipment.

• Shade and heat insulation:

  Solar PV modules act as roof shades that lowers the room temperature in top floor, saving electricity fees from air conditioning.

• Clean energy:

  It is an eco-friendly energy source as electricity generation does not require any fuel and not cause air pollution.

Installed capacity refers to the maximum amount of electricity that a generating station can produce, and is calculated in kW. Each kW of installed capacity requires approximately 3 ping of roof area.

Solar panel output would be subject to the climate and environment; please refer to the information announced by Taiwan Power Company. Most of the solar panels' lifespans are over 20 years, most of which are able to maintain over 80% outputs after that. It depends on equipment effectiveness.

The structure of solar panels must be certified by a structural engineer to ensure that it can withstand typhoons.
