DragonPass - Lounge VIP card

Holders of eligible cards can apply for a DragonPass airport lounge card online.

The free use benefits provided by each card are subject to the card's benefit description.

  • For customers with World Card / Infinite Card / World Elite Card / Diamond Card, the application validity period is 2 years.
  • For customers with E.SUN Business Visa Signature Card / Business Platinum Card / Corporate Card / Dual Currency Card / STARLUX Airlines Titanium Card / NISSAN Signature Card / Hanshin Tianmu Business Visa Signature Card / Civil Servant National Tourism Card (Titanium / Signature / Crystal / Platinum-Current) / Taipei and New Taipei City Dental Association Member Card, the application validity period is 1 year.
  • If you need to use it after the expiration date, please reapply to the bank.
  • Please apply for a DragonPass airport lounge card three working days before using the airport lounge / restaurant.

Instructions for use of a Dragon Pass / Lounge VIP card
  • In case the Bank verifies that there is no transaction history indicating the use of the card to pay airfare or itinerary expenses prior to the use of the airport lounge/restaurant, that the person has made 3 or more visits during the departure journey and return journey, that the person has exceeded the maximum allowed complimentary visits, or that the person does not qualify for complimentary visits, the Bank will charge NT$900 per visit per person or offset such charges by deducting 13,000 reward points.
  • A member may present his/her lounge VIP card to visit the lounge/restaurant. Such complimentary use benefit is “non-transferable”. Each of your accompanying guests, adults and children alike, will be charged a fee of NT$900 per person per visit, or such charges may be offset with 13,000 reward points. Such fee will not be collected on-site at the lounge/restaurant but charged to the member’s credit card and presented as “Lounge VIP Card - Guest Admission Fees” on the member’s credit card statement.
  • A DragonPass / Lounge VIP card can only be used by an E. SUN credit card member himself/herself. Each member can apply for only one DragonPass / Lounge VIP card. The minimum spending thresholds for application, and for complimentary visits, are counted separately for a primary card and a supplementary card. A primary cardholder and a supplementary cardholder are advised to present their own DragonPass / Lounge VIP card.

Terms of Use

Instructions for an airport lounge / restaurant visit

  • A customer eligible for complimentary visits “may make 2 visits to the airport lounge / restaurant”, but may not enjoy 2 complimentary set meals in a single day. Airport restaurants permit a single customer to use only one complimentary benefit in a single day.
  • A DragonPass holder wishing to use the 2nd or more set meals will be charged “Use fees” or “Guest admission fees”. The use fees and guest admission fees charged to the member's credit card are NT$900 per person per meal.
  • Such fees will not be collected on-site at the lounge/restaurant but charged to the member’s credit card and presented as “Lounge VIP Card - Guest Admission Fees” or “Lounge VIP Card - Use Fees” on the member’s credit card statement. A person, even when having multiple DragonPass cards, can still enjoy only 1 DragonPass meal in a single day.
Notes
  • After receiving your card number in a text message, please download the "DragonPass Travel" app or DragonPass e-card to log in. Enter your card number and password (your birthdate's month and day, 4 digits) to use. Customers with a physical DragonPass card do not need to download the "DragonPass Travel" app to use it. Some airport lounges/restaurants around the world cannot be accessed with a DragonPass "physical card". You must "present the designated electronic certificate through the DragonPass Travel app" to enter.
  • A DragonPass / Lounge VIP card cannot be given to others for use. The complimentary use benefit can only be used by the holder himself/herself and is therefore non-transferable. Wrongful use by a person other than the holder might constitute forgery or fraud.
  • A DragonPass / Lounge VIP card is not a payment card, and cannot be used as a credit proof.
  • To enter a lounge, a cardholder and his/her accompanying guests must present their own valid DragonPass / Lounge VIP card, boarding pass, and passport. To use DragonPass set meal at an airport restaurant, a cardholder and his/her accompanying guests must present their own valid DragonPass / Lounge VIP card and passport.
  • When a cardholder enters a lounge / restaurant, the lounge / restaurant attendant will register the consumption record by electronically scanning or manually entering the card number. The consumption record will list the date of use by the cardholder and the number of persons served; the cardholder must verify and confirm the correctness of the consumption record. A cardholder may make a query about lounge / restaurant use record certificate on Dragonpass app’s “My Footprint” page. Such certificate is a detailed record of the cardholder’s use of lounge / restaurant, If you have any doubt about the use, please voice your dissent within 3 business day after use; failure to do so will be deemed that you have agreed to the use of this service.
  • When you as a cardholder intends to use the lounge and your accompanying guest also has a DragonPass card, you and your guest are advised to present own DragonPass card (or QR Code) for the lounge attendant to register, lest the lounge attendant registers “guest admission” in your use record. Any resulting guest admission fees afterwards on your credit card statement will not be refunded by the Bank; we thank you for your understanding. Each of your accompanying guests, adults and children alike, will be charged a guest admission fee of NT$900 per person per visit. Such fee will not be collected on-site at the lounge/restaurant but charged to the member’s credit card and presented as “Lounge VIP Card - Guest Admission Fees” on the member’s credit card statement.
  • You as a cardholder is requested to present your valid DragonPass card (or QR code) and passport at a restaurant counter to enjoy the options of DragonPass set meals. Each serving of DragonPass set meal a cardholder chooses will count as one complimentary use of the Bank’s lounge. Use by any person not eligible for complimentary use will lead to the cardholder being charged NT$750 per serving of DragonPass set meal. Such fees won’t be collected on-site at the lounge, but presented as “Lounge VIP Card - Use Fees” and charged to your credit card statement A person, even when having multiple DragonPass cards, can still enjoy only 1 serving of DragonPass set meal in a single day; the restaurant will not separately issue an invoice to the cardholder.
  • You as a cardholder is requested to present your valid DragonPass card (or QR code) and passport at a restaurant counter, so that the restaurant attendant can register for you and you can enjoy the options of DragonPass set meals. The fees for use of a DragonPass set meal will not be collected on-site at the restaurant; the restaurant will request such fees from the issuing bank at a later time. If the cardholder does not qualify for complimentary use, fees will be presented on and charged to the cardholder’s credit card statement. The second (and the nth) serving of DragonPass set meal will count as a use with an accompanying guest. For example, the same card number ordering two servings of set meals will be deemed admission of one accompanying guest; the same card number ordering three servings of set meals will be deemed admission of two accompanying guests. The fees for admission of an accompanying guest are NT$900 per serving per person. Such fees will not be collected on-site at the lounge/restaurant but presented as “Lounge VIP Card - Guest Admission Fees” and charged to the member’s credit card statement.
  • The restaurant does not restrict the number of guests accompanying a cardholder intending to enter the restaurant; however, the accompanying guests must meet the minimum spending requirement of the restaurant. When you as a cardholder intends to use the DragonPass set meal service and your accompanying guest also has a DragonPass card, you and your guest are advised to present own DragonPass card (or QR Code) for the restaurant attendant to register, lest the restaurant attendant registers “guest admission” in your use record. Any resulting guest admission fees afterwards on your credit card statement will not be refunded by the Bank; we thank you for your understanding. Each of your accompanying guests, adults and children alike, will be charged a fee of NT$900 per person per serving of DragonPass set meal. Such fee will not be collected on-site at the restaurant but charged to the member’s credit card and presented as “Lounge VIP Card - Guest Admission Fees” on the member’s credit card statement.
  • Internal operation of participating lounges / restaurants will be determined by the participating lounges / restaurants themselves. Neither the Bank nor any Dragonpass company or Dragonpass agent has the right to intervene in the equipment served, business hours, or personnel affairs of such participating lounges / restaurants. Dragonpass companies or Dragonpass agents warrant the functions and equipment described above. However, neither the Bank nor any Dragonpass company or Dragonpass agent is liable for any damages arising from whether equipment is provided.
  • A cardholder and accompanying guests must abide by the Rules of Use promulgated by each lounge. The right of use might be restricted if a lounge is crowded; each lounge reserves the ultimate right to determine whether to impose an access control.
  • Restaurants do not restrict the number of guests accompanying a cardholder intending to enter a restaurant; however, the accompanying guests must meet the minimum spending requirement of the restaurant. The right of use might be restricted if a restaurant is crowded or fully occupied; each restaurant reserves the ultimate right to determine whether to impose an access control.
  • The lounge / restaurant at each airport reserves the ultimate right to determine whether to serve all beverages (including alcohol beverages) free of charge. Any expenses arising from use of beverage must be paid on-site by the cardholder to the lounge / restaurant attendant (for details, see the rules of each lounge / restaurant).
  • Provision of the various equipment and fees charged for using the equipment vary among lounges / restaurants, and will be determined at the discretion of each lounge / restaurant. Any expenses arising from use of equipment must be paid on-site by the cardholder to the lounge / restaurant attendant (for details, see the rules of each lounge / restaurant).
  • Lounge / restaurant attendants reserve the right to deny access to any cardholder and his/her accompanying guests if either the cardholder or any of his/her accompanying guests dresses or acts in an indecent manner. Lounge / restaurant attendants might ask the person dressing or acting in an indecent manner to leave the lounge / restaurant. Neither the Bank nor any Dragonpass company or Dragonpass agent is liable for any losses arising directly or indirectly from lounge / restaurant attendants’ denying access to a cardholder and his/her accompanying guests due to the said circumstances.
  • Neither the Bank nor any Dragonpass company or Dragonpass agent is accountable for any dispute between lounge / restaurant attendants and a cardholder and his/her accompanying guests.
  • The cardholder agrees to indemnify, save, and hold harmless the Bank and DragonPass companies (or agents), their directors, employees, and agents (collectively ‘the indemnified parties’) from and against any and all liabilities, damage, loss, claims, litigation, ruling, expenditures and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of casualty, death, or financial loss of any person due to the use of a lounge / restaurant by the cardholder or his/her accompanying guests. However, gross negligence and deliberate misconduct of the indemnified parties are not indemnified.
  • Starting from April 1, 2018, a DragonPass card issued in Taiwan does not provide access to EVA/China Airlines VIP lounges for the time being.
  • DragonPass company (or its agents) and E.SUN Bank credit cards reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
  • The Bank will terminate the lounge use eligibility of a cardholder who does not have one of the Bank’s cards above at the Platinum tier or above due to card cancellation.

The primary cardholder is a private banking member and an Ultimate Member.

  • Up to 18 complimentary visits per year.
  • Minimum spending threshold is calculated separately for primary card and supplementary card; please separately present a Lounge VIP card.

Pay the full international airfare or 80% or more of the expenses of a travel agency’s overseas tour itinerary with the same E.SUN World Card account number within 90 days prior to the use of the airport lounge/restaurant service. In addition, on the latest statement prior to the use of the airport lounge/restaurant service, make a new purchase with the same E.SUN World Card account number (including general spending and installment payments at designated stores) of NT$10,000 or more.

2. Pay the full international airfare of NT$10,000 or more or the expenses of a travel agency’s overseas tour itinerary of NT$10,000 or more with the same E.SUN World Card account number within 90 days prior to the use of the airport lounge/restaurant service.

3. Make a new purchase of NT$60,000 or more with the same E.SUN World Card account number (including general spending and installment payments at designated stores) on the three most recent statements prior to the use of the airport lounge/restaurant service.

Make a new purchase of NT$30,000 or more (including general spending and installment payments at designated stores) with the same E.SUN World Card account number on the latest statement prior to the use of the airport lounge/restaurant service, and the purchase must include an international flight or travel agency overseas tour fee.

2. Make a new purchase of NT$100,000 or more (including general spending and installment payments at designated stores) with the same E.SUN World Card account number on the three most recent statements prior to the use of the airport lounge/restaurant service.

Within 180 days of using the airport lounge/restaurant service, you must use the same card number and Infinite Card to pay for the full international airfare for your trip or 80% or more of the expenses of a travel agency’s overseas tour itinerary.

On the latest statement prior to using the airport lounge/restaurant service, you must make a new purchase with the same card number and Infinite Card for NT$5,000 or more. This includes general spending and installment payments at designated stores.

Consumption threshold:

1. To use the airport lounge/restaurant benefit, you must make new purchases of NT$30,000 or more (including general spending and installment payments at designated stores) with the same card number on the latest statement prior to the use of the service. The purchase must also include international airfare or travel agency overseas tour fees.

2. To use the airport lounge/restaurant benefit, you must make new purchases of NT$100,000 or more (including general spending and installment payments at designated stores) with the same card number on the statements of the most recent three periods prior to the use of the service.

Meeting any of the above 1 or 2 spending thresholds will qualify you for the benefit.

Free use of airport lounges/restaurants:

  • Within the validity period of the airport lounge card, you can use the airport lounges/restaurants twice free of charge each time you go abroad.
  • The annual limit of free use is twice.
  • Spending requirements for principal and supplementary cards are calculated separately. Please present your airport lounge card separately.

Citizen’s Travel Card for civil servants

Minimum spending threshold：

The cardholder must be an in-service civil servant of the Bank’s participating units who is eligible for application for subsidy：

1. Payment of international airfare in full, or payment of 80% or more of expenses of a travel agency’s overseas tour itinerary, that is charged to the same Citizen’s Travel Card for Civil Servants account number within 90 days prior to the use of airport lounge/restaurant service, plus a new regular purchase hitting NT$10,000 or more charged to the same Citizen’s Travel Card for Civil Servants account number on the latest statement prior to the use of airport lounge/restaurant service. or

2. Payment of international airfare in full, or payment of expenses of a travel agency’s overseas tour itinerary, that reaches NT$10,000 charged to the same Citizen’s Travel Card for Civil Servants account number within 90 days prior to the use of airport lounge / restaurant service; or

3. New regular purchases hitting NT$60,000 charged to the same Citizen’s Travel Card for Civil Servants account number on the statement of the most recent three periods prior to the use of an airport lounge / restaurant service. Such benefit service may be used upon satisfaction of either 1, 2, or 3 stated above.


Maximum complimentary visits in a year (1/1~12/31) during the validity period of a Lounge VIP card：

  • Two complimentary visits to airport lounges/restaurants every year for overseas travel.
  • Up to 2 complimentary visits per year (1/1 ~ 12/31) during the contract validity period.
  • Minimum spending threshold is calculated separately for primary card and supplementary card; please separately present a Lounge VIP card.
