Services

Transportation service statement

  • An airport transfer service’s daily service capacity in terms of service trips is limited. The state of booking shall be based on the information provided by airport transfer services. Service is subject to availability, and no notice will be made when capacity is full. It is advised that you book early during consecutive holidays or peak travel season lest your itinerary is delayed.
  • "In case of delayed/canceled flight or airport shutdown due to force majeure, e.g., weather, earthquake, etc., please notify the transfer service by phone at least 12 hours prior to the pickup time; failure to cancel the booking at least 12 hours before the pickup time will be deemed to have used the service for one time.

  • The airport transfer service benefits stated below will be carried out by “ CanLead ” and ” Hotai Leasing Corporation ” and “E-GO Taiwan Car Rental&Travel Group Corp.” Benefit is accessible only by booking on an member-only website. The Bank is not accountable for rights and interests jeopardized due to service. Please file complaints through the service hotline provided by participating transfer services.

Airport transfer booking
  • Description of service regions:
    1. Airport transfer service benefit is available for transport between Taipei City / New Taipei City / Taoyuan City and Taipei Songshan Airport / Taoyuan International Airport; transport between Taichung City and Taichung International Airport (Ching-Chuan-Kang Air Force Base); and transport between Kaohsiung City and Kaohsiung International Airport in principle.
    2. A markup will be charged for a pickup or dropoff place not in the said regionsCanLeadE-GOHotai Leasing

  • This airport transfer service is limited to booked transfer in the Taiwan main island between a pick-up place and either of Taipei Songshan Airport, Taoyuan International Airport, Taichung International Airport, or Kaohsiung International Airport, whichever is the closest to the pick-up place. Ports, Taiwan High Speed Rail stations, etc., are not within the scope of this service benefit.
  • Since Kaohsiung International Airport prohibits rental passenger cars, medium-sized buses, and tour buses to pick up passengers in front of its concourse, customers to leave the airport must get aboard the vehicle in the airport parking facility.
  • Transfer service is available only on surface streets, excluding basement.
  • Please complete the booked procedures according to the booked time. Please make sure that sufficient time is left for the transfer journey.
  • Transfer service booked at short notice might not be available, depending on the vehicle scheduling status of the Bank’s transfer services.
  • If vehicles are fully booked, no transfer compensation in any other form will be provided. If you need to modify / cancel booked service, please do so before the deadline, otherwise no benefit or expenses will be returned.
  • Airport transfer services will send an SMS containing information on the driver’s name, vehicle license plate number, and cellphone number during 17:00 and 22:00 of the day preceding the service day. If you have yet to receive an SMS, please check with a customer service agent of the transfer service.

  • If a transfer vehicle is not present at the designated time and place, please immediately check with a customer service agent of a transfer service. If you cannot wait or the transfer service is unable to arrange a vehicle for you immediately, you may take other forms of transport; any resulting transport expenditures may be reimbursed on a pay-as-you-go basis by applying to the Bank’s transfer service against receipts or invoices.
Booking service for consecutive holidays

1. Consecutive holidays are peak hours of booking transfer service. If you need to modify / cancel booked service, please do so before the deadline, otherwise no benefit or expenses will be returned.

2. No transfer service in any other form will be provided if vehicles are fully booked. Transfer service to be provided is subject to the vehicle scheduling status of the Bank’s transfer services, and we do not guarantee provision of transfer service.

※ Cardholders wishing to book service to be provided during consecutive holidays must do so over the phone or through the Internet at least 10 business days in advance (excluding the service commencement day and national holidays). Booking made beyond the deadline will not be accepted.
※ “Booking Deadline” mentioned in the table above is the booking deadline for the first day of defined consecutive holidays. The booking deadline for other days is 10 business days prior the service commencement day you intend.
Notes
  • This benefit is restricted to use by an E. SUN credit card holder. If a cardholder is not present during the provision of transfer service (i.e., the passenger is a relative of friend of the cardholder), the Bank will give a booking notice via the mobile phone number registered by the primary cardholder with the Bank, so as to ensure the cardholder’s benefits. When booking on a transfer service’s exclusive webpage or over the phone, please provide the primary card account number and the primary cardholder’s information to facilitate verification of the benefits attached to the card.
  • A cardholder must factor in traffic conditions (e.g., congestion, stop-over, etc.) and the distance of the transfer journey to determine the intended time for pick-up or drop-off at airport. Transfer services are not responsible for assessing the traffic schedule. In case of any force majeure encountered during the provision of transfer service, including, but not limited to, traffic congestion, vehicle breakdown, etc., the transfer service must, in a reasonable, sensible, and legitimate manner, assist the cardholder to cope with the situation. However, if that results in miss of a flight, the cardholder shall be solely responsible.
  • A cardholder shall take good card of precious belongings when taking the vehicle.
  • Airport transfer service will be provided based on the number of passengers and location designated by the cardholder at the time of booking. The cardholder may not demand change of location at the commencement of transfer service. The cardholder shall be solely responsible for any resulting consequence, e.g., failure to use the transfer service, additional expenses, or time delayed.
  • A cardholder having booked an airport pickup service must keep his/her mobile phone in good connection to facilitate contact by the pickup personnel.

2. New regular purchases hitting NT$60,000 (including general spending and installment payments at designated stores) charged to an E.SUN - STARLUX Airlines World Elite Card statement of the most recent three periods prior to the airport transfer service commencement date.

3. Payment of international airfare in full or the expenses of a travel agency’s overseas tour itinerary reaching NT$5,000 charged to an E.SUN - STARLUX Airlines World Elite Card account number within 90 days prior to the airport transfer service commencement date.

1.Make a new purchase with the same card number and product type on the latest billing statement prior to the airport transfer reservation date, including general spending and installment payments at designated stores. The purchase must also include international airfare or travel agency overseas tour fees. The total amount must be NT$30,000 or more.

2. Make a new purchase with the same card number and product type on the statements of the most recent three periods prior to the airport transfer reservation date, including general spending and installment payments at designated stores. The total amount must be NT$100,000 or more.

Bonus: If you accumulate NT$500,000 or more in new purchases with the same card number and product type during the current year (from 1/1 to 12/31), you will receive a bonus one-time airport pickup or dropoff service. (The service can be booked only after the threshold is reached in the latest billing statement. The maximum number of bonus services is one time.)

Payment of international airfare in full reaching NT$20,000, or payment of 80% or more of the expenses of a travel agency’s overseas tour itinerary reaching NT$20,000, that is charged to the same account number of an Infinite Card, Signature Elite Card for physicians, or Taipei City and New Taipei City Dental Association Membership Card within 180 days prior to the airport transfer service commencement date.

Service content:

1. Entitlement to one single-trip airport pickup or dropoff service to/from specified regions (up to 2 trips in any given year [1/1~12/31]). The number of complimentary airport transfer service trips to which a holder of an Infinite Card, Signature Elite Card for physicians, and Taipei City and New Taipei City Dental Association Membership Card is entitled will be based on the eligible combined amount of the primary card and supplementary card aggregated under the same account number.

2. Regular purchases in 2023 reaching NT$200,000 charged to an Infinite Card or Signature Elite Card for physicians are eligible for one single-trip complimentary airport transfer service to/from specific regions; this rules apply to the amount in excess of NT$200,000 (no cap on the number of trips in a given year [1/1~12/31]). The number of complimentary trips are determined based on the combined eligible amount of the primary card and supplementary card aggregated under the same account number.

3. A holder of an Infinite Card or Signature Elite Card for physicians may redeem two trips of single-trip transfer service for one trip of “inter-region transfer” service. The service regions are restricted to the following:

※ “Inter-region transfer service” to/from Taipei Songshan Airport or Taoyuan International Airport is available for the following regions: Keelung City; Yilan County and Yilan City; Hsinchu County and Hsinchu City; Miaoli County and Miaoli City; Taichung City; Changhua County and Changhua City; and Nantou County and Nantou City.

※ “Inter-region transfer service” to/from Taichung International Airport is available for the following regions: Hsinchu County and Hsinchu City; Miaoli County and Miaoli City; Changhua County and Changhua City; Nantou County and Nantou City; Yunlin County; and Chiayi County and Chiayi City.

※ “Inter-region transfer service” to/from Kaohsiung International Airport is available for the following regions: Taichung City; Changhua County and Changhua City; Nantou County and Nantou City; Yunlin County; Chiayi County and Chiayi City; Tainan City; and Pingtung County and Pingtung City.

Minimum spending threshold (total of the primary and supplementary cards) for eligibility for use:

1.Make a new purchase with the same card number and product type on the latest billing statement prior to the airport transfer reservation date, including general spending and installment payments at designated stores. The purchase must also include international airfare or travel agency overseas tour fees. The total amount must be NT$30,000 or more.

Minimum spending threshold (total of the primary and supplementary cards) for eligibility for use:

The eligibility of a cardholder who is a civil servant of the Bank’s participating units and is eligible for application for subsidy shall be based on the contractual terms between the Bank and the participating units:

(1) Participating units offering complimentary airport transfer service:

Each amount of new regular purchases made at home or abroad combined reaching NT$100,000 (including general spending and installment payments at designated stores) is eligible for one airport transfer service trip to/from specified regions (must be used within the same year). The maximum allowed number of trips per year during the contract period is 2 for primary card and supplementary cards aggregated under the same account number.

(2) Not a participating unit of the Bank / not in-service / not eligible for application of subsidy: Cardholders can book airport pickup or dropoff services at a discounted price.
