Transportation service statement

An airport transfer service’s daily service capacity in terms of service trips is limited. The state of booking shall be based on the information provided by airport transfer services. Service is subject to availability, and no notice will be made when capacity is full. It is advised that you book early during consecutive holidays or peak travel season lest your itinerary is delayed.
"In case of delayed/canceled flight or airport shutdown due to force majeure, e.g., weather, earthquake, etc., please notify the transfer service by phone at least 12 hours prior to the pickup time; failure to cancel the booking at least 12 hours before the pickup time will be deemed to have used the service for one time.

Esun credit care Transportation to and from airport

The airport transfer service benefits stated below will be carried out by “ CanLead ” and ” Hotai Leasing Corporation ” and “E-GO Taiwan Car Rental&Travel Group Corp.” Benefit is accessible only by booking on an member-only website. The Bank is not accountable for rights and interests jeopardized due to service. Please file complaints through the service hotline provided by participating transfer services.

Airport transfer booking

Description of service regions：
1. Airport transfer service benefit is available for transport between Taipei City / New Taipei City / Taoyuan City and Taipei Songshan Airport / Taoyuan International Airport; transport between Taichung City and Taichung International Airport (Ching-Chuan-Kang Air Force Base); and transport between Kaohsiung City and Kaohsiung International Airport in principle.
2. A markup will be charged for a pickup or dropoff place not in the said regionsCanLead、E-GO、Hotai Leasing。
3. A markup will be charged for transfer to/from some remote places of certain regions.CanLead、E-GO、Hotai Leasing。
This airport transfer service is limited to booked transfer in the Taiwan main island between a pick-up place and either of Taipei Songshan Airport, Taoyuan International Airport, Taichung International Airport, or Kaohsiung International Airport, whichever is the closest to the pick-up place. Ports, Taiwan High Speed Rail stations, etc., are not within the scope of this service benefit.
Since Kaohsiung International Airport prohibits rental passenger cars, medium-sized buses, and tour buses to pick up passengers in front of its concourse, customers to leave the airport must get aboard the vehicle in the airport parking facility.
Transfer service is available only on surface streets, excluding basement.
Please complete the booked procedures according to the booked time. Please make sure that sufficient time is left for the transfer journey.
Transfer service booked at short notice might not be available, depending on the vehicle scheduling status of the Bank’s transfer services.
If vehicles are fully booked, no transfer compensation in any other form will be provided. If you need to modify / cancel booked service, please do so before the deadline, otherwise no benefit or expenses will be returned.
Airport transfer services will send an SMS containing information on the driver’s name, vehicle license plate number, and cellphone number during 17:00 and 22:00 of the day preceding the service day. If you have yet to receive an SMS, please check with a customer service agent of the transfer service.

If a transfer vehicle is not present at the designated time and place, please immediately check with a customer service agent of a transfer service. If you cannot wait or the transfer service is unable to arrange a vehicle for you immediately, you may take other forms of transport; any resulting transport expenditures may be reimbursed on a pay-as-you-go basis by applying to the Bank’s transfer service against receipts or invoices.

Booking service for consecutive holidays

1. Consecutive holidays are peak hours of booking transfer service. If you need to modify / cancel booked service, please do so before the deadline, otherwise no benefit or expenses will be returned.

2. No transfer service in any other form will be provided if vehicles are fully booked. Transfer service to be provided is subject to the vehicle scheduling status of the Bank’s transfer services, and we do not guarantee provision of transfer service.

※ Cardholders wishing to book service to be provided during consecutive holidays must do so over the phone or through the Internet at least 10 business days in advance (excluding the service commencement day and national holidays). Booking made beyond the deadline will not be accepted. ※ “Booking Deadline” mentioned in the table above is the booking deadline for the first day of defined consecutive holidays. The booking deadline for other days is 10 business days prior the service commencement day you intend.

Notes

This benefit is restricted to use by an E. SUN credit card holder. If a cardholder is not present during the provision of transfer service (i.e., the passenger is a relative of friend of the cardholder), the Bank will give a booking notice via the mobile phone number registered by the primary cardholder with the Bank, so as to ensure the cardholder’s benefits. When booking on a transfer service’s exclusive webpage or over the phone, please provide the primary card account number and the primary cardholder’s information to facilitate verification of the benefits attached to the card.
A cardholder must factor in traffic conditions (e.g., congestion, stop-over, etc.) and the distance of the transfer journey to determine the intended time for pick-up or drop-off at airport. Transfer services are not responsible for assessing the traffic schedule. In case of any force majeure encountered during the provision of transfer service, including, but not limited to, traffic congestion, vehicle breakdown, etc., the transfer service must, in a reasonable, sensible, and legitimate manner, assist the cardholder to cope with the situation. However, if that results in miss of a flight, the cardholder shall be solely responsible.
A cardholder shall take good card of precious belongings when taking the vehicle.
Airport transfer service will be provided based on the number of passengers and location designated by the cardholder at the time of booking. The cardholder may not demand change of location at the commencement of transfer service. The cardholder shall be solely responsible for any resulting consequence, e.g., failure to use the transfer service, additional expenses, or time delayed.
A cardholder having booked an airport pickup service must keep his/her mobile phone in good connection to facilitate contact by the pickup personnel.

Notice for use

Booking time：

Airport transfer service must be booked at least three business days in advance (excluding the booking day, the service provision day, and holidays and national holidays stipulated by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration of Executive Yuan), so as to facilitate vehicle scheduling. Where the intended service provision day coincides with consecutive holidays (3 days or more) stipulated by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration of Executive Yuan,airport transfer service must be booked at least 7 business days in advance (excluding the booking day, the service commencement day, and holidays and national holidays stipulated by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration of Executive Yuan).

If the designated time slot for commencement of transfer service falls during 23:00 ~ 06:00, an additional fee of NT$200 will be charged. (Based on the designated time or the flight schedule arrival time)

Time for modification/cancellation：

Any intended modification or cancellation must be made by phone at least 24 hours prior to the originally designated service commencement time. Modification or cancellation within 24 hours is not allowed, and will be deemed to have used this service; no service fees will be refunded under such circumstance. Where the intended service commencement day coincides with consecutive holidays (3 days or more) stipulated by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration of Executive Yuan, modification or cancellation of airport transfer service must be made at least 3 business days in advance (excluding the booking day, the service provision day, and holidays and national holidays stipulated by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration of Executive Yuan and).

Pickup time / Waiting fee：

If your flight arrives earlier, please notify the transfer service by phone. The transfer service will dispatch service vehicle as soon as possible. However, the service commencement time shall be still based on the flight arrival time originally posted on the website. We thank you for your patient waiting. Upon confirmation of a flight delay, a cardholder must immediately notify the transfer service by phone to avoid impairment of his/her benefits. The pickup time is 90 minutes after the eventual flight arrival time or the time designated by the cardholder. A service attendant having verified the arrival of flight but failing to contact the cardholder may leave the airport promptly 90 minutes after the eventual flight arrival time, in which case the cardholder is deemed to have used the service for a single time. If the service attendant receives a waiting request from the cardholder, the cardholder must pay a waiting fee of NT$300 per hour counting from the 91st minute. Time span less than one hour is counted as one hour.

When inquiry results indicate cancellation of a flight, the transfer service will promptly cancel the transfer service and deem that the transfer service is not provided. If the cardholder has verified the change of flight (including change to another flight made voluntarily by an airline for the cardholder), the cardholder is required to immediately notify the transfer service; however, such change must still be made within the “Time for modification/cancellation” specified in the previous paragraph. Otherwise, customer service agents could only assist in seeking transfer service when vehicles are available, depending on the vehicle scheduling status of that day, and a fee for an addition time of service will be charged. However, if vehicles are fully booked, transfer service at short notice will not be available for the cardholder whose flight is changed. We thank you for your understanding. Where the change of flight is due to special causes, proofs must be submitted within one month after the designated pickup day.

Dropoff time / Waiting fee：

If a service attendant having arrived at the time and location designated by the cardholder does not see the presence of the cardholder or his/her accompanying guests and is unable to reach the cardholder 30 minutes after the designated dropoff time, the service attendant may leave the airport promptly, in which case the cardholder is deemed to have used the service for a single time. If the service attendant receives a waiting request from the cardholder, the cardholder must pay a waiting fee of NT$300 per hour counting from the 31st minute. Time span less than one hour is counted as one hour.

Pickup or dropoff location：

This benefit service is a point-to-point service. The intention to add any stopover in between must be notified in advance. One additional stopover will be charged by its distance at the rate that would be charged had the mileage of the service vehicle were zeroed. For example, a stopover will be charged a stopover fee of NT$200 for the first 10 km (inclusive) and NT$15 per km thereafter. Distance less than 1 km is deemed as 1 km. The maximum allowed number of stopovers are 2; a cardholder wishing to add more than two stopovers will not be able to use this service.

Delay compensation：

"In the case the transfer service driver and service vehicle arrives at the designated location more that 30 minutes after the time designated by the cardholder (excluding the case of early arrival of a flight) or the transfer service notifies its incapability to provide service at the designated time, if the cardholder is unable to wait for the provision of transfer service, the cardholder may elect to reserve his/her benefit and leave by taking other forms of transport. However, any resulting transportation fees must be born by the cardholder. In the case the cardholder is affirmed by the transfer service that the service vehicle is unable to arrive at the designated time, the cardholder has the right to leave by taking other forms of transport, and may claim reimbursement of resulting transportation expenditures from the transfer service on a pay-as-you-go basis against proofs like invoices or receipts."

Welcome sign fee：

Welcome sign service is available upon request and will be charged NT$200; the content of the welcome sign must be provided at the time of booking.

Transfer service vehicle type：

"This service includes a transfer vehicle that is a 4-passenger sedan, subject to the number of passengers and vehicle availability. The number of passengers and the load of luggage must not exceed the vehicle’s rated carrying capacity. In addition, designation of vehicle type, size, or brand is not allowed. If an additional vehicle is required on-site, the cardholder must bear all resulting expenses. Upgrade to a 7-passenger vehicle will be charged an upgrade fee of NT$200. (The transfer service vehicle is still based on the type of vehicle available for dispatch by the transfer service). To ensure traffic safety, the vehicle cabin can accommodate passengers only; all luggage (including carry-on luggage) must be placed in the trunk of the vehicle. A shoulder bag holding important documents, passport, wallet, etc., may be carried into the vehicle if it does not affect traffic safety. However, the eventual carrying capacity must not risk traffic safety. The transfer service reserves the ultimate right to dispatch a vehicle, which shall be a 4-passenger sedan in principle, or may be a 7-passenger vehicle in place of a 4-passenger sedan subject to availability.

Number of accompanying guests：

"If the cardholder, accompanying families or friends, and their luggage combined do not exceed the carrying capacity of the originally booked vehicle, the accompanying families or friends may also take a ride (the maximum allowed number of passengers is subject to transportation laws and regulations). At the time of booking, the cardholder is obliged to inform the transfer service of the accurate number of accompanying guests and the number of pieces of luggage and their dimensions. If the carrying capacity of a 4-passenger sedan used for complimentary service is exceeded, the cardholder must bear the cost of upgrading to a 7-passenger vehicle. In the case where the originally book vehicle is a sedan, where the transfer service dispatches a 7-passenger vehicle instead out of scheduling considerations, and where the luggage and the number of passengers on-site exceed the carrying capacity of the originally booked vehicle, the transfer service may charge an upgrade fee for the upgrade of vehicle, and for the upgraded capacity for the luggage and number of passengers on-site in excess of the carrying capacity of the originally booked vehicle). However, the transfer service reserves the ultimate right to determine the carrying capacity.

※ The pieces of luggage and number of passengers in excess of the carrying capacity cannot be carried, and must be dealt with by the cardholder himself/herself. If the cardholder requests dispatch of vehicle from the transfer service, the transfer service will try its best to arrange for a vehicle, subject to the availability of vehicle on that day, and will charge the cardholder for dispatch of vehicle. However, if all vehicles are fully dispatched, request for dispatch of vehicle at short notice will not be accepted. We thank you for your understanding.

Safety seat：
- Safety seats and boosters are available upon request, at NT$100 each. Such request must be made at the time of booking transfer service.
- According to the government’s “Regulations for Promotion and Implementation of Safety Seat for Little Children in Light Vehicle”, children under the age of 12 must fasten a seat belt or use a safety seat (booster) when riding in a light vehicle. If a little child also need be riding in the airport transfer service vehicle, the cardholder must take the initiative to indicate such need when booking.
- Children safety seats (boosters) come in two types of specifications; the cardholder should indicate the required specifications when booking. For infants and toddlers (for the age of 1 ~ 4; forward-facing only) / Children’s boosters (for the age of 4 ~ 12).
- Due to the limits of vehicle models, only two safety seats (boosters) at the maximum per vehicle are allowed for booking. If two safety seats (boosters) are booked, it is required to upgrade to a 7-passenger vehicle and charge an upgrade fee.

※ Any additional expenses accrued during the provision of service (e.g., Waiting fees, and so on) must be paid in cash to the driver or with the Bank’s credit card in accordance with the transfer service’s operating procedures, The transfer service will successively mail the card holder the invoices for the deductible payment in the second month following the month in which service provision is concluded.

2. New regular purchases hitting NT$60,000 (including general spending and installment payments at designated stores) charged to an E.SUN - STARLUX Airlines World Elite Card statement of the most recent three periods prior to the airport transfer service commencement date.

2. New regular purchases hitting NT$60,000 charged to an E.SUN World Card statement of the most recent three periods prior to the airport transfer service commencement date.

3. Payment of international airfare in full, or payment of the expenses of a travel agency’s overseas tour itinerary, that reaches NT$10,000 charged to an E.SUN World Card account number within 90 days prior to the airport transfer service commencement date.

Service content：

Minimum spending threshold (total of the primary and supplementary cards) for eligibility for use：

1.Make a new purchase with the same card number and product type on the latest billing statement prior to the airport transfer reservation date, including general spending and installment payments at designated stores. The purchase must also include international airfare or travel agency overseas tour fees. The total amount must be NT$30,000 or more.

2. Make a new purchase with the same card number and product type on the statements of the most recent three periods prior to the airport transfer reservation date, including general spending and installment payments at designated stores. The total amount must be NT$100,000 or more.

Bonus: If you accumulate NT$500,000 or more in new purchases with the same card number and product type during the current year (from 1/1 to 12/31), you will receive a bonus one-time airport pickup or dropoff service. (The service can be booked only after the threshold is reached in the latest billing statement. The maximum number of bonus services is one time.)

Infinite

(Elite credit card for physicians; accountants / traditional Chinese physicians / architects / dentists / pharmacists) / Signature Elite Card for physicians / Taipei City and New Taipei City Dental Association Membership Card

Minimum spending threshold (total of the primary and supplementary cards)：

Payment of international airfare in full reaching NT$20,000, or payment of 80% or more of the expenses of a travel agency’s overseas tour itinerary reaching NT$20,000, that is charged to the same account number of an Infinite Card, Signature Elite Card for physicians, or Taipei City and New Taipei City Dental Association Membership Card within 180 days prior to the airport transfer service commencement date.

Service content：

1. Entitlement to one single-trip airport pickup or dropoff service to/from specified regions (up to 2 trips in any given year [1/1~12/31]). The number of complimentary airport transfer service trips to which a holder of an Infinite Card, Signature Elite Card for physicians, and Taipei City and New Taipei City Dental Association Membership Card is entitled will be based on the eligible combined amount of the primary card and supplementary card aggregated under the same account number.

2. Regular purchases in 2023 reaching NT$200,000 charged to an Infinite Card or Signature Elite Card for physicians are eligible for one single-trip complimentary airport transfer service to/from specific regions; this rules apply to the amount in excess of NT$200,000 (no cap on the number of trips in a given year [1/1~12/31]). The number of complimentary trips are determined based on the combined eligible amount of the primary card and supplementary card aggregated under the same account number.

3. A holder of an Infinite Card or Signature Elite Card for physicians may redeem two trips of single-trip transfer service for one trip of “inter-region transfer” service. The service regions are restricted to the following：

※ “Inter-region transfer service” to/from Taipei Songshan Airport or Taoyuan International Airport is available for the following regions: Keelung City; Yilan County and Yilan City; Hsinchu County and Hsinchu City; Miaoli County and Miaoli City; Taichung City; Changhua County and Changhua City; and Nantou County and Nantou City.

※ “Inter-region transfer service” to/from Taichung International Airport is available for the following regions: Hsinchu County and Hsinchu City; Miaoli County and Miaoli City; Changhua County and Changhua City; Nantou County and Nantou City; Yunlin County; and Chiayi County and Chiayi City.

※ “Inter-region transfer service” to/from Kaohsiung International Airport is available for the following regions: Taichung City; Changhua County and Changhua City; Nantou County and Nantou City; Yunlin County; Chiayi County and Chiayi City; Tainan City; and Pingtung County and Pingtung City.

※ “Inter-region transfer service” for which transfer service to/from “specified regions” is redeemed can be booked only by calling the customer service center at (02) 2182-1313.

Taipei Nan Shan Plaza Diamond Card

Minimum spending threshold (total of the primary and supplementary cards) for eligibility for use：

1.Make a new purchase with the same card number and product type on the latest billing statement prior to the airport transfer reservation date, including general spending and installment payments at designated stores. The purchase must also include international airfare or travel agency overseas tour fees. The total amount must be NT$30,000 or more.

2. Make a new purchase with the same card number and product type on the statements of the most recent three periods prior to the airport transfer reservation date, including general spending and installment payments at designated stores. The total amount must be NT$100,000 or more.

※ A cardholder meeting the minimum spending threshold specified in either (1) or (2) above is eligible to use the benefit.

Service content：

Entitlement to one single-trip airport pickup or dropoff service to/from specified regions (up to 2 trips in any given year [1/1~12/31]). The number of complimentary airport transfer service trips will be based on the eligible combined amount of the primary card and supplementary card aggregated under the same account number.

The eligibility of a cardholder who is a civil servant of the Bank’s participating units and is eligible for application for subsidy shall be based on the contractual terms between the Bank and the participating units：

(1) Participating units offering complimentary airport transfer service：

Each amount of new regular purchases made at home or abroad combined reaching NT$100,000 (including general spending and installment payments at designated stores) is eligible for one airport transfer service trip to/from specified regions (must be used within the same year). The maximum allowed number of trips per year during the contract period is 2 for primary card and supplementary cards aggregated under the same account number.

(2) Not a participating unit of the Bank / not in-service / not eligible for application of subsidy: Cardholders can book airport pickup or dropoff services at a discounted price.
