• Recently there are a rise in scamming activities on social media such as Telegram, Facebook, WhatsApp or Line or via called. Fraudsters overtake individual social media account and scam to be their family members or relatives or friends in order to borrow money or request for fund transfer in all kinds of scenarios. Hence we would like to advise you to put high caution and protect your social media account and aware about financial digital usage as well as pay high attention before you decide to transfer money, and do not provide your one-time password or PIN or verification code to third party.
• Some of private institutions who are not an official partner with Banking and Financial Institutions (BFIs) have been using names (including abbreviation), logo and other images of Banking and Financial Institutions without permission through unrealistic advertisement that confused customer in the form of collaboration with BFIs to pay, deposits and withdrawals money for their investments to attract the public and customers to use its products and services. Therefore, UCB would like to inform customer to be more cautious in these activities. Meanwhile, using the name (including abbreviation), logo and other related image of Union Commercial Bank Plc and its parents company, E.SUN Commercial Bank, Ltd. require prior approval from UCB senior management.
• All staff of the UCB who visit the customer premises will not ask customer to pay any fee (either in cash or via transfer) in exchange of using the bank products or services. UCB relevant charges are limited to pay over the counter or debit from customer's UCB own account only. If you have any concerns, please suspend the payment action immediately and contact with UCB.
