E.SUN Bank to stop issue of and replace E. SUN Plus Titanium Cards

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your support and use of the Bank’s Plus Titanium Cards. Due to the expiry of the agreement between the Bank and Yuan Hsin Digital Payment Co., Ltd., new Plus Titanium Cards will no longer be issued after July 1, 2022. Existing cards may still be used until their expiry date, but once the card expires, becomes damaged, or lost, a replacement of the same card type will not be issued. The E.SUN U Bear Card (without electronic stored-value functions) will be issued as a replacement, and the E. SUN Plus Titanium Card will be automatically canceled once the E.SUN U Bear Card is activated. A replacement E.SUN U Bear Card will not be issued if you already hold this card type. If you do not agree to be issued a replacement card, please register to “Cancel Plus Titanium Card/Do Not Replace Plus Titanium Card with U Bear Card” using the website links below before May 31, 2022. If no application is received before this date, you will be deemed as agreeing to be issued a new card.

In order to ensure that you continue to be able to enjoy the various benefits and rights available to you as an E.SUN Bank credit cardholder, we would like to remind you that if you are currently using the Plus Titanium Card to make insurance premium payments or other regular automatic payments (such as: payments for telephone fees, donations, cable television... etc), please remember to change the credit card details you have provided for these payments.

Attention:

1. • (1) The Plus Titanium Card is originally a Mastercard, and on July 1, 2022 the card will be converted into an E.SUN U Bear credit card without electronic stored-value card functions.

   • (2) If your original card is replaced by a E.SUN U Bear Credit Card (non-electronic stored-value card), annual fees for the card shall be waived as long as you continue to make purchases with the card each year.
   • (3) Please proceed to E.SUN e-Click Online Card Application if you wish to apply for other credit cards offered by the Bank.
2. After registering to “Cancel Plus Titanium Card/Do Not Replace Plus Titanium Card with U Bear Card”, any Plus Titanium Cards under the cardholder’s name shall be canceled, or not replaced upon expiry.
3. After registering to “Cancel Plus Titanium Card”, the card will be canceled on the following day.
4. After the primary cardholder registers to “Cancel Plus Titanium Card/Do Not Replace Plus Titanium Card with U Bear Card”, all primary and supplementary cards will be canceled, or not replaced upon expiry.
