Use of Personal Information on Social Media

You will be deemed to fully understand and agree the following matters of E.SUN Bank (hereinafter referred to as E.SUN) when you join or continue to follow E.SUN Lucky Cats fan page, E.SUN Bank - Digital Lifestyle and Special Offers fan page, E.SUN’s LINE official account, E.SUN’s Instagram-esun.efingo, or E.SUN YouTube-ESUNCHANNEL (collectively, the Services).

  • Pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act and related regulations, E.SUN hereby states the management policy for collecting, processing, using and transmitting internationally your personal data and the rights or services to which you are entitled.   • E.SUN will, for the purpose of drawing prizes, mailing gifts, marketing, statistical surveys, data analysis and other relevant applications, collect, process, use, and internationally transmit your personal information (including but not limited to name, phone number, address, social media username and account). If you use or accept the Services, the social media platform may provide E.SUN with your likes, sharing, replies, or public information on social media (including social media username, account, name, profile and cover photos, sex, age, friend list, and email) or other information that you agree to provide to the social media platform, for the purpose of providing and improving the Services, advertisements or marketing. If you wish to reject relevant advertisements, please go to the social media platform service website to adjust the personal settings.

  • E.SUN may, for the purpose of providing LINE Business Connect service, E.SUN Internet banking service, E.SUN mobile banking service, data analysis and marketing, collect, process, use, and internationally transmit your personal information. If you use or accept the Services, LINE Taiwan Limited (hereinafter referred to as LINE) may provide E.SUN with your LINE UID, profile picture, nickname, status or other information that you agree to provide to LINE. E.SUN may, based on the needs of the Services, provide and/or show on the LINE platform the notifications of changes in your account balance, credit card statement inquiries, credit card notifications (including payment deadline notifications, payment credit notifications, credit card spending notifications), loan notifications (including payment notifications, debit failure notifications), fixed deposit expiry notifications, foreign exchange price notifications, market high and low point notifications, foreign exchange event notifications, bonus point inquiries or other notifications as agreed between you and E.SUN. Please refer to the “E.SUN LINE Business Connect Personalized Notification Service Terms” as announced on the official website of E.SUN Bank.

  • In addition to collecting, processing, using and internationally transmitting your personal information as permitted by the above notice or other laws, E.SUN may also collect, process, use and internationally transmit other information (including but not limited to text messages, photos, sounds, videos, locations, files and postings, etc.) that you voluntarily provide to E.SUN.

  • Unless specifically provided for by law or due to E.SUN’s operating or business needs, in order to request that E.SUN ceases to collect, process, or use or deletes your social media information, you are advised to call customer service or leave a message on the visitor message board on the E.SUN Bank website and include the type and description of right(s) you wish to exercise and your real name, telephone number, and address so we may process your application.
