Announcement of Amendment to Credit Card Agreement

Due to new laws and regulations, E.SUN Bank will be amending its Credit Card Agreement from January 1, 2020 onwards. If you have any objections to these amendments, please notify E.SUN Bank before the date that these amendments become effective to terminate your agreement. If you do not do so before this date, you will be deemed as having agreed to these amendments:

Paragraph 4
The cardholder must not conspire with an external party or a designated merchant to create fictitious transactions or commit fraud, or exchange the credit card for cash or other benefits. Should the cardholder violate the terms of this Agreement (including but not limited to transactions involving risk of unethical conduct, fraud, or a fictitious transaction), or engage in an illegal transaction. E.SUN Bank is entitled to remove the cardholder’s right to access cash, reward points, or eligibility for other card rewards. E.SUN Bank may also request that the cardholder return any cash-back funds, reward points, or other card benefits that they have already received. If these amounts or benefits cannot be returned due to their nature, or due to other circumstances, E.SUN Bank may request compensation of equal value. The cardholder must not conspire with an external party or a designated merchant to create fictitious transactions or commit fraud, or exchange the credit card for cash or other benefits.

The cardholder’s overpayment balance composed of both NTD and other foreign currencies..., if in excess of US$50,000 after being converted based on E.SUN Bank’s USD sell rates for that day. Paragraph 2
E.SUN Bank may.... revolving credit interest rate. The revolving credit interest rate will be adjusted based on the results of E.SUN Bank’s regular quarterly credit assessment. If, during this variable interest rate period, the cardholder’s credit risk rating as assessed by E.SUN Bank’s credit assessment system increases, or if the cardholder’s credit score at financial institutions was damaged by some incident (including irregular credit transactions... declaring bankruptcy, being subject to a court order, being subject to legally-ordered debt-securing measures, or other incidents that would damage the cardholder’s credit score, E.SUN Bank may increase the cardholder’s revolving credit interest rate sixty days after notifying the cardholder. Article 22
Paragraph 8
If due to the cardholder’s purchase of highly-liquid goods, ..., item, amount (including amounts inconsistent with the cardholder’s status, occupation, assets, income, or other financial background, or if a risk notification is received from an international organization or another bank), and E.SUN Bank judges that there are grounds for suspecting that a fictitious transaction, conspiracy to commit fraud, fraudulent transaction, cash exchange, or other unacceptable action has taken place, or that illegal gains have been obtained, E.SUN Bank is entitled to prohibit the cardholder from conducting the above transaction through an E.SUN Bank credit card, or suspend the card due to risk concerns. The same shall apply to the cardholder making a payment to supplement a credit card purchase above their original credit limit. If due to the cardholder’s purchase of highly-liquid goods, ..., item discrepancies, and E.SUN Bank judges that there are grounds for suspecting that a fictitious transaction, conspiracy to commit fraud, fraudulent transaction, cash exchange has taken place, or that illegal gains have been obtained, E.SUN Bank is entitled to prohibit the cardholder from conducting the above transaction through an E.SUN Bank credit card.
