Cross-border withdrawal services for IC ATM cards will become unavailable for physical card transactions in the Japan region from November 30, 2023 onwards

Dear Customers:

Thank you for your long-term support for the Bank’s IC ATM Card Cross-Border Withdrawal services. In line with global trends towards mobile payment, and because most card purchases internationally have shifted from being physical card payments to mobile payment, the Bank has cooperated with financial companies to stop accepting physical card transactions for withdrawals made using the IC ATM Card in the Japan region from November 30, 2023 onwards. We apologize for any inconvenience.
