Thank you for your support and use of E.SUN Bank credit cards. Due to amendments to the Rules Governing the Administration of Electronic Payment Business and the Bank’s current EasyCard Co-Branded Card business operations, the Bank will be amending the Special Terms and Conditions for E.SUN EasyCard Co-Branded Cards, with these amendments taking effect on October 1, 2021. Please refer to the comparison table below detailing the changes to these Terms and Conditions before and after the amendment. If the cardholder has any objections to these amendments, please notify the Bank before the date that these amendments become effective to terminate your agreement (if no notification is submitted, the cardholder shall be deemed as having agreed to these amendments)
Reminder! From October 1, 2021 onwards, holders of non-name registered EasyCard Co-Branded Cards (note) shall be issued a card without EasyCard functions when their existing card is re-issued or replaced. In order to protect your interests, please apply for EasyCard name registration as quickly as possible.
(Note) EasyCard Co-Branded Cards approved and issued before April 1, 2012 are not name-registered.

Autoload: This refers to the function allowing EasyCard Co-branded Cardholders to automatically add a specified amount to their EasyCard balance through an autoload machine when using the Co-Branded Card as an EasyCard, pursuant to the agreement between the cardholder and E.SUN Bank. This function may be used when the card balance is insufficient to cover an expense, or when the card balance is below some specific amount, and the autoload amount must be within the cardholder’s credit limit. The amount available for autoload is equal to the amount that the cardholder is able to put on their credit card (without accounting for reward points or cash-backs). Any matters not covered in these Special Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the credit card agreement. | III. VII. Non-name registered EasyCard: The EasyCard Co-Branded Card only possesses the EasyCard functionality of a non-name registered EasyCard. The balance stored within these cards are treated as cash, and if the card becomes lost, stolen, or destroyed, the card may not be reported as lost and card payments may not be stopped or a refund applied for. From April 1, 2012 onwards, the cardholder may submit an application to E.SUN Bank to convert their card into a name-registered EasyCard. E.SUN Bank requires 7 to 10 working days after receiving the application in order to complete this procedure. If the cardholder does not agree to convert their card into a name-registered EasyCard, they cannot be issued a replacement EasyCard Co-Branded Card. | VII. If the cardholder does not allow E.SUN Bank to automatically enable the autoload function on their card application, and instead chooses to have the function disabled by default, they will be required to complete the credit card activation process before they can re-enable the EasyCard autoload function in the future. If the cardholder uses the EasyCard functions of the EasyCard Co-Branded Card without activating the credit card, they shall still be responsible for repaying all autoload charges incurred. However, regardless if the autoload function was enabled by default, or later enabled by the cardholder, the cardholder may not request that the function be disabled once enabled. |

Article 2 Use of EasyCard Paragraph 5 |
Pursuant to EasyCard Corporation’s terms of service and relevant laws and regulations, no interest shall accrue on any EasyCard balance. Apart from maintaining deposit provision pursuant to Article 18, Paragraph 1 of the Act Governing Issuance of Electronic Stored Value Cards, EasyCard Corporation shall be required to transfer any remaining EasyCard balance after setting aside deposit provisions into a trust pursuant to the same Act Governing Issuance of Electronic Stored Value Cards and relevant laws and regulations in order to protect the cardholder's interests. | No interest shall accrue on any EasyCard balance. Article 4 Re-issue, replacement, or renewal of the EasyCard Co-Branded Card Paragraph 2 |
Should the EasyCard Co-Branded Card be rendered unusable due to becoming contaminated, having its chip degaussed, scratched, damaged, malfunction, loss, or any other reason (hereinafter collectively referred to as the card becoming damaged or lost), the cardholder may request that E.SUN Bank re-issue a new card. Unless the card had become damaged or lost due to the fault of E.SUN Bank or the EasyCard Corporation, the cardholder shall pay a card re-issue/replacement service fee of NT$50 per card. The cardholder should cut up their old credit card, and mail the cut-up card back to E.SUN Bank via registered mail. If the cardholder has failed to mail their card back to the issuing bank pursuant to these rules, they shall be responsible for any payment transactions or autoload charges incurred as part of the “balance transfer” process.
